All is Quiet. Now Relax.

Summer so far, is looking quite different from last year: air travel is a mess; prices are sky high, and the market is still in a wrenching period of instability. And yet the act of taking personal time has never been more essential than at this very moment. As emails bounce back with ‘out of the office’ notifications, this the perfect time to log off from reality and give yourself a much-deserved break. Read a book. Listen to a podcast. Watch the sunset. Or just loaf.

-         Catch a movie, preferably something that will please both adults and children alike. Arguably, Hayao Miyazaki, the 81-year-old founder of Studio Ghibli who just came out of retirement to direct a new animated feature is a master filmaker with breathtakingly beautiful movies that have captivated and inspired audiences for generations through masterful storytelling and stunning visuals. Miyazaki does not shy away from inserting adult themes into his movies, despite them being primarily made for children. Endless streaming options exist, or if you're lucky – you might be able to catch one at your local movie theatre.
