Organic Content Can Grow and Feed Social Followers

A large part of management’s job is building relationships with investors and shareholders, which means you’re always working to earn their trust and prove your value. The easiest way to do this, is through social media. It was built for connecting. Since many view organic content as more trustworthy than paid posts, re-posts with comments can quickly increase your visibility while building your credibility, reputation and brand. Lastly, encourage your team to re-share content with employee notifications on LinkedIn. Here is a quick guide:

Monthly

  • Keep followers informed with a short monthly newsletter on LinkedIn that delivers updates (news, interviews, upcoming events, conference recaps...) to initiate a conversation.

  • Regularly review analytics to identify gaps in follower opportunities and invite followers on a weekly basis. Be sure to add a “bell” to posts which means your posts will show up in their feed.

Weekly

  • Follow relevant pages and accounts and repost articles of interest with or without, your informed viewpoint. Use consistent hashtags on posts, comments and discussions to attract followers.

  •  Investors usually check social media early, so be sure to post before 7:00 am but remember to keep time zones in mind. Fridays, often thought to be the worst day of the week especially during summer, can be effective right before and during lunch time. And never post on the weekend.
